无论是音乐还是绘画，艾敬都始终对正在发生的社会保持着关注。她以一种艺术家的状态游走于不同的艺术领域中，并在十年的艺术实践中证明了两种不同的艺术形式能够在精神上达到高度的契合。在这些成系列的绘画作品里，艾敬以观念性的语言持续着对现代生活内心经验的表达和抒发，而我们体验到的不仅是一种视觉的力量，还有一种充满韵律的生命之美。

在中国运用多元的艺术形式表达和挖掘自己情感的艺术家为数不多，我相信他们是拓展当代艺术的领域的新力量。艾敬作为中国当代艺术跨界的先锋潮流人物的尝试，一方面呈现出中国当代艺术领域中艺术多元化创作的一个基本层面，另一方面也带给当代艺术界更多有关“可能性”的思考。

    Ai Jing concerns herself with the social events consistently through either her music or painting. Being an artist, she is traveling through the different art areas and with the ten-year art practices, she successfully proves that these two different art forms can be fitted to each other at a highly psychological level. In these series of works, Ai Jing expresses and even unleashes her spiritual experience of modern life by the conceptual language. Particularly, not only the visual power is what we can experience, but also the beauty of a rhythmic life.
There are rare artists who can use multiple art forms to explore and express their emotions; however, I have confidence that they are the new blood in discovering the contemporary art. As a cross-over pioneer in Chinese contemporary art, Ai Jing reveals the basic level of motile art creation in the Chinese contemporary art; on the other hand, she arouses more thoughts on the ‘possibilities’ to the field of contemporary art.
