    “Space Painting” is what Mr. Hongzhi Chen has been working at these years. However, “ Space painting” I mentioned above is not wall painting of graves made in Qin dynasty of China, which presented the different appearance styles of sky, earth and human in different spaces including hell as well, which presented the relationship between graves and painting styles in certain subject, which is the annals of painting according to Wuhong’s opinion. It also differs from Michelangelo’s ceiling painting in Cappellla Sistina, which coupled with the architecture become a paean about god ‘ emotion. “Space Painting” absolutely holds the clear stereoscopic image; it is the combination of plane image and sculpture. Therefore, the works owns wholeness and completeness. In the works, painting form, transparent organic glass and individual style are all fixed, but image of works and subjects are changeable. Therefore, how to combine all elements perfectly is what Mr. Chen is thinking about..
 

    Although many artists are also thinking about the same question recently, but most of them focus on sculptures. They color, copy the sculptures and even change their shapes as they like, which are very commercial. So it’s funny to see a commode or a Venus casting gold.
