Belgian artist Ann Veronica Janssens is concerned essentially with the nature of human perception. Her work is often minimal, impinging on us often through the use of light, its reflection and refraction, to evoke feelings of wonder. Her statement, ‘Our Body Does Not Have Clear Borders’, makes clear that she is concerned with interaction rather than the possibility of isolating phenomena.
